DESCRIPTION:May 5\, 2026 @ Aurora Public Schools Stadium\n9:30 AM to 12:30 PM\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration is now open for 2026 Goberis DHH Track and Field Day!\nWe are excited to see everyone at APS Stadium on May 5th for Goberis DHH Track and Field Day. \nA note to schools and parents regarding squad assignments. \n\nSchool programs will be responsible for squad assignments within their program and direct supervision/support\nWe suggest limiting the number of students in each squad to 10 or 12\nWe are updating our Teen Connections program as an application-based program for Teen Mentors.\nFor middle school and high school students not participating in squads or the Teen Connections program\, please coordinate with elementary school programs in your district to provide support as needed.\nPlease indicate which students do not have media permissions by using clearly-marked name tags\n\nIn April\, we will be sending out squad information as well as a template for name tags that includes student name\, program name\, squad leader\, and media permission status. You are free to hand write or use the Avery template included in the event FAQ email update. \nThis will simplify the check-in process upon arrival at APS Stadium. \nIf you have any questions about registration\, please email DHHTFD@mariondowns.org

DESCRIPTION:The 2-week program meets from 9:00-12:30 on Monday through Thursday mornings from June 15th to June 25th. \nThere will be Parent Information Sessions prior to the start of camp. Dates will be announced soon. \nAssessments are completed in June at the MDC (5570 DTC Parkway Ste 200\, Greenwood Village\, CO 80111) \nMarion’s Way Listening and Language Camp meets at the Anchor Center (2550 Roslyn Street\, Denver 80238) \nEligible Students: \n\nAges 3-5\nDeaf or hard-of-hearing\nEnglish spoken language levels of 2 years-5 years\nParticipation is required for a speech/language\, learning\, and hearing assessments at the Marion Downs Center (MDC). This will include 1-2 clinic visits\nParents participate in all parent information sessions\nReferral from parent\, teacher\, early intervention provider\, speech-language pathologist\, or audiologist\nRelease of Information from clinical and school audiologist also needed\n\nSchedule and Location: \n\nThe 2-week program meets from 9:00-12:30 on Monday-Thursday mornings from June 15th to June 25th.\nThere will be 2 Parent Education workshops during the 2 weeks. These small-group summer programs are designed specifically for children with hearing technology and provide a supportive environment to practice listening\, communication\, and early reading skills with peers. \nEach day includes interactive books\, songs\, rhythm activities\, listening games\, and creative play designed to strengthen the building blocks of literacy. \n Little Sound Jungle Explorers \nEarly Literacy and Language Camp (Ages 3–5) \nJuly 27–30 | 10:00–11:30 AM \nYoung adventurers will explore the jungle through songs\, stories\, and playful listening activities designed to build early literacy skills.
