DESCRIPTION:A Listening & Literacy Adventure for Children with Hearing Technology \nJoin us for a week of playful learning where children build listening\, language\, and early literacy skills through music\, stories\, movement\, and imaginative jungle adventures. These small-group summer programs are designed specifically for children with hearing technology and provide a supportive environment to practice listening\, communication\, and early reading skills with peers. \nEach day includes interactive books\, songs\, rhythm activities\, listening games\, and creative play designed to strengthen the building blocks of literacy. \n Little Sound Jungle Explorers \nEarly Literacy and Language Camp (Ages 3–5) \nJuly 27–30 | 10:00–11:30 AM \nYoung adventurers will explore the jungle through songs\, stories\, and playful listening activities designed to build early literacy skills. Children will sing animal songs\, move like jungle creatures\, explore letters the sounds of speech\, and participate in interactive story activities that encourage vocabulary growth and language development. \nThrough music\, rhythm\, and storytelling\, children will strengthen foundational skills such as: \n\nListening and auditory memory\nVocabulary development\nSpeech discrimination\nAuditory phonics\nStory comprehension and sequencing\nTurn-taking and social communication\n\nEach day features a jungle theme\, a story\, with hands-on activities that keep children engaged while building confidence in listening\, language and early literacy. \nThis camp is ideal for preschool-aged children who use hearing techmology and are developing early listening and spoken language skills. \nDownload the application by visiting: https://mariondowns.org/marions-way/marions-way-literacy/
