Marion Downs Center Valentine's Day Party

The Marion Downs Center is excited to host a Valentine’s Day Party for families of Deaf and Hard of Hearing children on February 14, 2026 from 10 AM to 12 PM.
While children participate in a supervised Valentine's Day celebration, caregivers are invited to a concurrent session focused on Optimizing Listening, Audibility, and Hearing Technology. The parent session will begin at 10:30 AM.
This dual-experience event ensures children enjoy a festive celebration while adults gain meaningful tools to support listening and communication success.
Topics include:
- Understanding audibility and why it matters
- Making the most of hearing technology in real-world settings
- Troubleshooting common challenges
- Supporting listening confidence and strategies across home, school, and community environments
