ABOUT MARION'S WAY FAMILY-BASED SERVICES
Marion's Way is a program of the Marion Downs Center designed to support young children with hearing loss and their families.
We host a summer preschool, Marion's Way Preschool and provide opportunities for parent support as needed.
We are currently offering services this summer for children ages 2-6 and their families.

SERVICES FOR CHILDREN WITH HEARING LOSS
We provide assessments and evaluations in the areas of audiology, speech, language, and literacy.
For school aged children, Marion’s Way can provide comprehensive math and literacy assessments to give you a clear understanding of how your child is learning compared to hearing children the same age.
We provide detailed reports and offer recommendations for accommodations, educational goals, and effective access to instruction.

SERVICES FOR PARENTS & FAMILY MEMBERS
As children move through the preschool setting and transition to kindergarten, the MDC recognizes the need for ongoing support in the IEP process.
Your child's current IEP goals can be progress monitored and reviewed with our educational specialist.
For school aged children, Marion’s Way can provide comprehensive math and literacy assessments to give you a clear understanding of how your child is learning compared to hearing children the same age.
WHO BENEFITS FROM MARION'S WAY?
We support children transitioning from early intervention services to the preschool setting.
If your child has an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP), we can provide up-to-date diagnostic testing and reports for the new Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
