Do you know how much noise exposure your employees receive in a shift?
When do you need to use Dosimeters?
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration requires that you have measured noise levels in your plant on record.
Employees exposed to an 8-hour time weighted average of 85 decibels or higher must be notified of these noise exposure results.
High Mobility & Re-Monitoring
If your workers have high mobility while working, area-type readings with sound level meters may not provide accurate exposures.
Re-monitoring is necessary whenever changes in the work environment increase noise level exposure.
Use our Noise Dosimeters Onsite!
Our dosimeter program is a cost effective and simple way to get time weighted averages of your employees' noise exposure documented.
There is no on/off switch! Start and stop times are preprogrammed before being on site for automatic usage in the field. Just clip the device on the employee's shoulder at the designated start time and take it off at the end of the shift.
Our Devices are lightweight with no set up required by you! They are small, durable devices about the same as a cell phone that can be clipped anywhere. You will then receive the dosimetry results via secure PDF.
Plus, we can test up to five employees at one time!
