Learn to cue in a 5 week course with a certified instructor of Cued Speech through Cue College’s online curriculum!

Information from Cue College: 

CS200 – Introduction to Cued American English, a 5 week instructor-led online course,  provides an overview of the Cued Speech system and includes all the handshapes and hand placements associated with each phoneme, or speech sound, of spoken English.

CS200 includes the CS100 online curriculum which takes you through the foundations and mechanics of Cued Speech, with examples of different words and phrases cued at each placement with each hand shape. CS200 also includes three weeks worth of drills and weekly supports in building fluency in Cued American English.

Each week will include

  • Weekly Class Sessions (1 hour) on Tuesday evenings from 7 to 8 pm EST
  • Weekly Lab Sessions (1 hour) on Thursday evenings from 7 to 8 pm EST
  • Quiz Checkpoints in Week 2 and Week 4
  • Weekly Video Assignments

CS200 also includes instructor interaction, quiz checkpoints and a course evaluation (a requirement for those seeking RID CEUs and a certificate of completion)

The contents of this course will be available from September 7, 2020 to September 7, 2021.  Upon purchase of the course, you will receive an email confirmation of your registration with instructions for signing onto our Canvas Learning Managament System.  Your course will appear in your Canvas dashboard on September 7.
